Our device is thick and has metal parts in addition to plastic parts. Can you treat our device?

Yes, our combined field treatment system can penetrate the most difficult medical devices while providing a uniformity of dose unsurpassed in industry. The unique combination of variable energy e-beam and x-ray fields tailored to easy specific medical device is unable to be beat.

How do you track the Sterility Assurance Level?

Our real time dosimetry tracking system measures our doses at the package level, not the shipment or pallet level, and stores them by the unique QR code we apply to the package. That information is stored for the life of the product and can be referenced at any time by contacting Pulse Sterile.

Questions about Chemicals

My device was being sterilized by Ethylene Oxide. I am concerned about the toxic nature of the gas. Can your process treat my product?

In about 90% of cases, yes. We have significantly improved treatment systems over existing radiation sterilization techniques which limited their ability to sterilize more sensitive devices. We have many years designing treatment procedures for even the most fragile, delicate plastic and rubber parts without damaging them.

My device has is plastic or has several plastic components. Can it be sterilized by Pulse Sterile?

Of course! Our sterilization system is approved for almost all metals, plastics, liquids, solids, pharmaceuticals, drugs and packaging forms.

Traditional radiation treatments embrittled or discolored our products. Does your process do this?

Our engineers with their significant background in radiation induced chemistry have spent years perfecting our pre and post treatment processes to minimize the embrittlement and discoloration caused historically by radiation based techniques.
